About this place
Disneyland is where it all started. Walt Disney opened the park on July 17, 1955, and walking down Main Street, U.S.A. toward Sleeping Beauty Castle is still one of America's classic travel moments.
Inside you'll find rides Walt himself knew, like the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Pirates of the Caribbean, alongside newer worlds such as Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. It was the second most-visited theme park in the world in 2024.
