About this place

Hoover Dam holds back Lake Mead about 45 minutes from Las Vegas and remains one of the great engineering feats of the 20th century. You can walk across the top, straddling Nevada and Arizona, and look down the curved face into Black Canyon.

Tours are run by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The full Dam Tour is sold only on-site, first come, first served, so we show the dam for planning but don't sell it.

Questions about Hoover Dam

Can I buy the Dam Tour online?
