About this place
The San Diego Zoo is one of the best-known zoos anywhere, set among the canyons of Balboa Park. Habitats are planted like gardens, and paths wind between areas dedicated to the animals of Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
It's a big, hilly site, so comfortable shoes help. The 1-Day Pass sold here is valid any day the zoo is open.
